University of Sussex, Falmer

We have partnered with one of Europe’s most prestigious and established universities to tell a compelling story about the ancient English woodlands and Dutch elm disease using biophilic design. This collaboration has been one of the most exciting projects for us, as we explored the endless possibilities and innovations of using natural materials to create art and raise important issues in an interactive and functional way.

Designed in partnership with Sussex University, we began by establishing the themes and issues we wanted to address. We then held a series of meetings, both in person and online, to explore materials and how they might lend themselves to our concepts.
