Forest Hill School
Features a 12 sqm Living Wall using a recycled plastic modular system set inside a glass atrium at the entrance of the science block in a school.
The irrigation is fully automated and monitored and altered off site via a Wi-Fi connected control unit and draws from a 12,000 lt rain harvesting tank. It’s a partially shaded wall only getting direct sunlight a few hours of the day so we have used a lot of plants such as ivy, polyblepharum fern and euonymus to keep it looking lush and full all year round as we get even less sunlight in the winter months.
We visit at least once a month to carry out maintenance and pest control. Removing dead leaves and making sure all is as it should be.
